As Seen On:

What People Are Saying…

“We cannot thank Chloe enough for helping us with our recent move. Our family had been in the same house for thirty years and the buildup of belongings in the closets and cupboards confirmed this…Chloe brought a calm professionalism to the work, helping us let go of sentimental objects that we just really didn’t need or want anymore and organizing all phases of the decluttering, packing and ultimately unpacking.”

Pre-Move Decluttering — Stop Paying to Move Stuff You Don't Want

Most people pack everything and deal with the clutter on the other end. That means paying movers by the pound to transport things that'll sit in boxes for months in your new home. There's a better way.

The problem: When you pack without decluttering first, you end up:

  • Paying movers to transport things you'll never use again

  • Bringing clutter directly into your beautiful new space

  • Making a thousand exhausting decisions while also managing a move

  • Arriving overwhelmed instead of excited

What I do instead: I work alongside you room by room, helping you decide intentionally what comes with you, what gets donated, and what gets let go of — before a single box is taped shut. You arrive at your new home with only what you love, and space to actually breathe.

Perfect for: Downsizing · Blending two households · Letting go of inherited items · Home sale prep · Fresh start after a life transition

How far in advance? I recommend reaching out 4–8 weeks before your move date. I've worked with clients with as little as 1–2 weeks notice — reach out as soon as you know your timeline.

Professional Unpacking — Settled In Days, Not Months

What I do:

I arrive on move-in day (or whenever you call me) and do the full unpack — not just emptying boxes, but creating functional systems in every room designed around how you actually live. When I leave, your home is ready to live in, not just moved into.

You'll walk into:

  • Kitchen ready to cook in on day one

  • Closets organized for your wardrobe and routines

  • Bathrooms stocked and functional

  • Beds made with fresh linens

  • All boxes removed — no cardboard mountains

It doesn't matter where you are in the process. Moving in next week? I'll be there on day one. Already moved in but still living out of boxes three months later? That's exactly what I'm here for. There's no wrong time to get help — only the moment you decide you're ready to actually feel at home.

Research shows Americans take an average of 182 days to fully unpack after a move. Six months of living out of boxes, not knowing where anything is, and never quite feeling at home. I can get you there in 1–3 days.

What's the Difference Between a Mover and a Professional Organizer?

Your movers get your boxes from point A to point B. That's their job, and they're great at it. My job is what happens next — and it's completely different.

As a professional organizer I’m thinking about:

How you move through the space each morning

What you reach for most and where it should live

Your daily routines — cooking, kids, work, getting out the door

Creating systems that work long-term, not just for day one

Making your new space feel like home, immediately

Working with both means your stuff arrives and has a place to go.

The Investment

My rate starts at $115/hour, all-inclusive — planning, hands-on organizing, donation drop-offs, and no surprise add-ons. Move projects are typically scoped during your free discovery call based on home size and number of boxes. I serve Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Shelton, Gig Harbor, and surrounding Thurston, Mason, and Pierce Counties.

Your Questions, Answered

  • It is never too late. Many clients reach out weeks or even months after moving in because they've been living out of boxes and can't seem to get on top of it. There is no wrong time to get help — only the moment you decide you're ready to actually feel at home. Whether you moved in yesterday or six months ago, I can come in and get your home fully unpacked and organized in 1–3 days.

  • Most homes are fully unpacked and organized within 2–5 days depending on size, number of boxes, and how many rooms need attention. A single-level home or apartment typically takes 1-2 days; larger multi-story homes or complex projects may take 2–5. I'll give you a realistic estimate during your free discovery call based on your specific situation.

  • I don't currently offer packing services — I specialize in pre-move decluttering (before you pack) and unpacking and organizing after you arrive. I work seamlessly alongside the moving company of your choice, and I can be on-site on move-in day to direct where boxes go by room, which saves significant time when we unpack.

  • That's exactly what I'm here for — you don't need to have it figured out before we start. I'll ask about your daily routines, how you cook, how your family moves through the house, and what you reach for most. From there I design the layout. If we set something up and it doesn't feel right, we adjust. The goal is a home that works for your real life.

  • Absolutely! Some clients want the whole home done in one efficient push; others need help with just the spaces that feel most overwhelming — the kitchen, the kids' rooms, the garage. There's no minimum. We'll scope the project during your discovery call based on what would make the biggest difference for you.

  • Ideally 4–8 weeks before your move date — this gives us time to work through the home systematically without the pressure of a ticking clock. That said, I've helped clients with as little as 1–2 weeks notice. If your move is coming up fast, reach out right away and we'll figure out what's possible.

  • Yes — I regularly coordinate with realtors, home stagers, and moving crews. If your agent has recommended decluttering before listing, I can work within your timeline and coordinate directly with your real estate team. For move-in day unpacking, I can work alongside your movers or arrive once they're done — whatever makes the process smoother for you.

  • I serve Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Shelton, Gig Harbor, DuPont, University Place, and the Greater South Sound area in person. Travel within 45 minutes of my Olympia base is included in my rate. For moves further out, travel time is billed at my standard hourly rate. Virtual move support and unpacking guidance is available nationwide.

  • Yes — and it's one of the smartest investments you can make before a move. Pre-move decluttering means sorting through what you own before a single box is packed, so you're only bringing what truly belongs in your next chapter. You save on moving costs, arrive with less chaos, and your new home starts organized from day one. I help with downsizing before a move, preparing a home for sale (including depersonalization), blending two households, and letting go of inherited items. I recommend reaching out 4–8 weeks before your move date, though I've helped clients with as little as 1–2 weeks notice. I serve Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and the Greater South Sound area.

  • Yes — I arrive at your new home and do the full unpack, not just emptying boxes but creating organized, functional systems in every room from day one. That means your kitchen is ready to cook in, your closets are set up for your wardrobe and routines, beds are made, bathrooms are stocked, and all boxes and packing materials are removed when we're done. Most homes are fully unpacked and organized within 2–5 days depending on size. The difference between unpacking with a professional organizer versus doing it yourself is walking into a home that actually feels settled — not one that might feel settled six months from now.

  • Yes — I regularly work alongside real estate agents, stagers, and moving companies. Home sale depersonalization and pre-listing decluttering are specific services I offer: we remove excess furniture, personal items, and visual clutter that can make a home feel smaller or harder for buyers to connect with. A decluttered, depersonalized home typically photographs better and sells faster. If your agent has recommended decluttering before listing, I can work directly within your timeline and coordinate with your real estate team.
